Every Day is Earth Day

Earth Day is fast approaching, and sustainable topics trending in anticipation of this holiday. But should we only focus on protecting the Earth one day a year? At CRC we believe that the Earth is a precious and limited resource which deserves our attention and protection every day of the year. If we continue progressing in a system that values money over nature, we won't have many Earth Day's left to celebrate here.

That doesn't mean we don't support Earth Day. It's a great holiday to spread awareness about environmental issues and take time to give back to nature. This year, CRC is tabling at the UM Sustainability Fair on the Oval on April 18, 12-2pm, and doing a river cleanup on April 23, 12pm behind UM facilities yard. Join us this week, and every week, to prioritize climate solutions and sustainable environmental stewardship at UM and beyond!
